Disengaging the Autopilot

Machine Learning (AttnGAN) | Photoshop | Blender

Following Engaging the Autopilot (Short Circuit), it was evident which forms were comfortable enough to reveal themselves out of the rubble of the 512x512 word-to-image generations. These identities began in the interstice of theory and reality, therefore it was a logical fit to rest in a space physically inaccessible to man.

The images of the installation are rendered using Blender, an open-source 3D modeling software. The series of composited images are framed on a virtual gallery wall while a computer monitor displays the cache of machine-generated images on a timeless loop.
